Chamber Operator
Professional Diving Centre offers a chamber operator certificate to persons who have completed the lectures classroom and practical examination / assessment as well as 50 panel hours of chamber operation in all three types of chambers namely twin lock land and mobile chambers as well as the emergency transport chambers.
All class II divers are trained as diving chamber operators for twin locks with 20 hours of practical operation. The stand alone chamber operator certification is more involved covering not only bibs masks, but oxygen hoods, HBO treatments, mixed gas treatments and mixing emergency treatment gases , residual damage follow up treatments and rescusitation with advanced life support equipment inside chambers.
Decompression of chamber attendents and other personnel as well as many other subjects.
