PDC Offers One of The Most Comprehensive Commercial Diver Training Courses Worldwide
In Business 38 years since 1987!!

PDC - Professional Diving Centre was registered as a Diving Business in 1987
38 years in the diving business up to 2025.
PDC has built up a very good reputation worldwide for commercial diver training
PDC Professional Diving centre is and has always been about providing comprehensive commercial diver training that prepares divers for handling underwater emergency situations that normally occur without warning. PDC believes that comprehensive commercial diver training makes the difference between a diver staying calm and effectively responding to any sudden emergency compared to a diver not calm and trained for emergencies. The comprehensive training that PDC offers could one day be the difference between a diver surviving to dive another day or not. PDC commercial diver training also includes a wide range of common underwater working tasks & skills on the diver training courses.
There are sayings that you should remember:
1) Cheap Training is not Good & Good Training is not Cheap.
2) You are only as good as your last dive and hopefully it was a successful productive dive.
As a potential diver you can invest in your own future or not.
You will either feel you are worth the investment in yourself or not.
It is a personal choice that only you can make, as it could affect you & your dive career for the rest of your life. Do not rush into training, rather take your time and do the research & decide what is best for you.
Professional Diving Centre was a working dive company and started in house training as PDC could not find properly trained commercial divers who were trained in using professional equipment such as the Kirby Morgan range of helmets / band masks and who had a vast range of underwater tool and task skills.
Due to the lack of competent commercial divers available to PDC the PDC Diving School was opened, and a course was run each year giving PDC well trained divers to work with. The demand for comprehensive commercial diver training became so demanding, that PDC then opened a full-time dive school and limited its diving work to only a few high risk & very specialized underwater work activates that other dive companies did not want to do.
Over the last 38 years PDC has built up a very good & unique reputation in commercial diver training and one which PDC is very proud of and is dedicated to continuing with.
Over the years, the trend of many commercial diving schools and instructors has been to simplify commercial diving instruction and reduce the skills taught, as well as the number of training dives and bottom times given to students in the practical section of diver training.
This has placed an extra burden on the dive companies employing these divers as they now have to provide extra on-the-job training above the normal dive task orientations causing delays, extra risks and costs incurred to them.
While you cannot learn everything about the practical diving work tasks on a diving course you do need to know how to use all the diving equipment and the full range of underwater tools safely as well as a range of basic work task skills so you can adapt to any tasks presented to you in your future as a commercial diver.

PDC has vast experience in all aspects of commercial diving – Air, Mixed Gas, Saturation, Hazmat etc. PDC is here to provide you with a way above average of commercial diving and related training skills if you choose to want to get more out of your training investment.
Let the PDC Experience be used to your Advantage
Please note
PDC does not run the short fast minimal training courses that many schools do and PDC also does not do RPL training because divers have had 30 plus years to do proper commercial training and old habits are not easily changed and we have found so many false logbooks that are presented and most times even endorsed by dive companies with letters confirming all and most times even though we try we cannot properly verify anything. The cost of proper commercial training creates the motivation to falsely present this bogus information and want the RPL assessment instead of proper commercial diver training.
This RPL training is a risk to every properly trained working commercial diver out there the world over and PDC believes it should not be allowed due to safety reasons and therefore PDC does not offer it or accept it.

Grant had Professional Diving Centre train its own commercial divers in-house during this time and later due to constant demand for diver training, changed its roll from dive work to full time commercial dive training. Grant Jameson never believed in the minimum training standard but rather added to the minimum standard of what the industry actually needs the diver to know as extra and be competent in.
Professional Diving Centre now trains divers, supervisors, A/LST’s and IMCA diver medics for 23 international diving companies, police and defence forces as well as private individuals. He is the owner and training manager of Professional Diving Centre. He has trained gas blenders for gas companies and also helped gas supply companies mix / blend gas for dive companies when they have not had enough staff and were under pressure to get gas mixtures out into the industry.
